Are you able to manage EC&I deliverables independently while collaborating closely with project and framework managers to meet critical deadlines? The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join our commercial team on a long-term contract. You will support a portfolio of projects, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of processes through the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation. This role is central to delivering high-quality technical solutions and maintaining strong client relationships. Your duties and responsibilities will be Provide EC&I technical services to existing clients as required. Deliver EC&I outputs in line with the agreed project schedule and framework requirements. Work closely with the Framework Manager to resolve technical or delivery challenges. Attend site when necessary to support project activities. Ensure all EC&I work complies with relevant legislation, standards, and industry best practice. Provide technical input during the design phase, with a strong focus on constructability. Apply experience gained within the gas and utilities sector to support project delivery. Produce electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams. You will have the following qualifications & experience: Strong background in Electrical Control & Instrumentation engineering within project environments. Proven experience in modifications, testing, and technical review of EC&I documentation. Solid understanding of gas industry standards and design requirements. It’s great if you also have the following Delivery-focused with the ability to meet business-critical timescales. Able to work under pressure while maintaining high technical standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, particularly when liaising with project stakeholders.
