Reference: 1e750e51 Job Purpose: I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me with various day-to-day tasks. Due to my mobility challenges I struggle with completing household tasks such as making my bed, doing laundry, gardening and meal preparation. I also need help with walking my child to school safely. On occasion I will need support with hospital appointments. I have a diagnosis of ADHD and learning difficulties, which means I will need some support around taking my medication, reading mail and completing paperwork. I also suffer with lack of confidence to socialise so would like some support around this which would help me to create new relationships, so I do not feel isolated. We could be going out into the community and for a coffee for example. Location: Downham Market, PE38 Details: Domestic duties. Meal preparation. Support when out and about. Support with school run. Support with attending medical appointments. Administrative support. Person specification Essential: Understanding of ADHD and learning difficulties. Friendly and patient. Flexible and professional. Empathetic and understanding. Likes animals, especially dogs and cats. Desirable: Experience with supporting someone with ADHD and learning difficulties. Summary terms and conditions: · The rate of pay for this position is £13 per hour. · Hours and times of work: 6-8 hours per week, arranged flexibly ahead of time. · The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. · This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling of Objects and Medication Practice.
