I'm recruiting for a Technical Coordinator on behalf of a leading national housebuilder who are expanding their successful Surrey team. Based in Guildford, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with an impressive development pipeline and reputation for quality.
The Role
You'll coordinate all technical aspects across live housing developments in Surrey and surrounding areas, working on traditional build schemes ranging from 80 to 250 units. This is a varied role where you'll be at the centre of ensuring smooth technical delivery from design through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing technical coordination across multiple live residential developments
* Liaising with architects, engineers, and external consultants
* Ensuring compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and NHBC standards
* Coordinating design information between commercial, construction, and sales teams
* Managing design queries and RFI processes
* Supporting warranty sign-offs and Building Control approvals
* Working with utility providers and adoption authorities
* Assisting with pre-acquisition technical due diligence
The Ideal Candidate
You'll have:
* Experience in a technical role within residential housebuilding
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines effectively
* Ambitious and keen to develop your technical career
* Ideally degree qualified in a relevant construction discipline
