Description
* Manage a portfolio of private clients.
* Review and prepare self‑assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Provide tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other personal tax matters.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support where needed.
* Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
* Assist with tax investigations and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
* Work closely with other departments to provide holistic advice to clients.
Profile
* Professional qualification such as ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA or QBE.
* Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and related legislation.
* Proven experience in managing a portfolio of private clients in the professional services industry.
* Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
* Ability to provide bespoke tax planning and compliance advice.
* Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
