Your new role Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will play a key role in preparing accurate, competitive and timely estimates for a wide range of interior fit‑out projects. You will support both pre‑construction and project delivery teams to ensure bids are commercially robust and aligned with operational capability. Key responsibilities include: Interpreting drawings, specifications and tender documentation to produce detailed take‑offs. Preparing cost estimates for materials, labour, subcontractors, logistics and installation. Liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and maintain cost databases. Assessing project risks, constraints and buildability considerations. Preparing tender submissions, bills of quantities and supporting documentation. Attending pre‑tender meetings and site visits when required. Supporting project handovers following successful bids. What you'll need to succeed Experience in construction estimating, ideally within interiors, fit‑out, joinery or a related discipline. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with estimating software is advantageous. Excellent communication and supplier‑coordination skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or similar is desirable.
