Network Sales Engineer – Network Visibility | Public Sector Remote (UK) | £90–120K bonus car allowance | SC required You’ll work on network problems most engineers never get near and be trusted to solve them in front of the people who own them. This is for someone who still enjoys getting close to the data but wants their work to carry commercial weight. What changes for you You move from fixing issues behind the scenes to shaping how major public sector networks perform. You stay hands-on with real infrastructure while influencing decisions at senior level. You see your technical thinking translate directly into deal outcomes and long-term customer impact. Why this is different You’ll support UK Government and critical infrastructure clients where network performance and visibility are business-critical. The work sits around packet-level analysis, observability, and live environments, not slide-led demos. You’ll stay involved beyond the sale, helping customers deploy and get value, not just sign. What you need Strong networking fundamentals across TCP/IP, WAN, and troubleshooting. Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Active SC clearance. The reality Remote role with regular customer travel (3–4 days per week). Working alongside Sales on complex, high-value accounts. Exposure to vendors in the visibility and performance space.
