The Business
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking Warehouse Assistants to work on an ongoing basis for our client based in Washington. This is a fast-paced role requiring good levels of accuracy. This is a temporary, ongoing up until Christmas.
The Role
* Picking and packing goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Physical activity including lifting and handling stock
* Checking stock
* Operating equipment
* Maintaining a clean and organised workplace
* Picking stock off shelves using a hand-held scanners
* Putting stock away onto shelves
* Decanting from pallets
* Meeting daily targets
* Performing stock rotation
* Inspecting goods for damage
The Person
* Previous warehouse experience preferred
* The ability to work with accuracy
* The ability to work alone and as part of a team
* Flexible to work a variety of shifts which include earlies, late shifts and some night shift
