Simply Education is seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised Science Technician to join our successful Science Department in a school. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of exciting and engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3–5. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for science and a keen eye for detail to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
* Lead the technical support across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Prepare and set up practical experiments and demonstrations
* Maintain and manage laboratory equipment, stock, and resources
* Ensure health and safety standards are always upheld
* Support teaching staff in delivering engaging and safe practical lessons
Requirements
* Has previous experience working in a school science lab or a lab environment similar environment
* Possesses strong organisational and communication skills
* Has a good understanding of health and safety in a laboratory setting
* Is confident working independently and as part of a team
