Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. Role Specification: You will have a good knowledge of Health & Safety and be able to use all relevant guidelines. You will be able to assist with the daily operations of the kitchen area. You will be able to assist the Head Chef in liaising regularly with all suppliers. You will be able to assist with the ordering and ensure that sufficient stock in maintained. You will assist the senior chefs in all related food hygiene regulations. You will be able to ensure food service in the restaurant is at the required standard. Personal Specification: Essentials Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards. Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and be able to use all relevant guidelines. Desirables Experience with large volume covers. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Food Safety Training. Shift Patterns: 40 hours per week 1 evening shift per week – the rest are day shifts. Please note that there are no split shifts.
