Overview
Role: CNC Grinder Technician (Week Day Night Shift). Location: Leamington Spa. Contract Type: Contract / Temporary. Role ID: 2025-3005. Salary: £17.92 per hour plus 20% shift allowance.
Responsibilities
* Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and planning route cards to produce components to the highest quality within routed timeframes
* Operate gear cutting and grinding machines including Hofler 400SK, Hofler Promat, Hofler Viper 500, G30 Bevel Grinder, Klingenberg PNC 100/P26 & P40 Gear Checker
* Skilled in cutting spur gears, helical gears, and splines using hobs and gear data from technical drawings
* Able to read, understand, and edit programmes, including adjusting speeds and feeds as necessary
* Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, problem solving, and continuous improvement
* Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when needed
* Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience operating gear cutting and grinding machines
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and planning route cards
* Ability to work in small teams delivering high quality transmission components, with a right first-time approach
