Trainee White Goods Engineer
Location: Carlisle
Customer Service Centre: Carlisle
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience plus quarterly bonus
Shift Pattern: Average of 41 hours per week working 5 over 7 days (some Saturdays on a rostered basis). No Sundays.
Recruiting in: CA, LA, DG, and TD areas.
If successful, you will start on Monday 9th June and need to be available for the first 4 weeks for induction and training.

Job Role
We’re seeking Trainee White Goods Engineers to join our White Goods Repair Team. This role offers industry-leading NPS and first-visit fix rates. You’ll bring basic electrical knowledge and receive comprehensive training to become a qualified White Goods Engineer within 2-4 months, making each day an adventure!
Building rapport with customers, diagnosing faults, installing, and repairing appliances are key aspects of this role. Your skills, knowledge, and positive attitude will ensure a great customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Testing, diagnosing, and repairing white goods in customers’ homes
* Applying technical knowledge across various appliances
* Driving a company van and managing your daily schedule
* Enhancing our reputation as a home services expert
Requirements
* Experience in repair or installation involving electric or electro-mechanical products (e.g., field services, trainee plumbing/electrical, domestic electrical installation)
* Basic electrical knowledge, both theoretical and practical
* Passion for excellent customer service
* Ability to handle heavy appliances like washing machines and dishwashers
* Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
