Role Overview Role/Job title: GE Small world Solution ArchitectWork Location: Dublin/Cork (preferred)Mode of working: HybridHybrid requirement: Need based travel to Cork/Dublin The Role Critical role to help define the asset strategy for a leading utilities customer. Your Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture
* Translate business requirements into High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
* Collaborate with customer technical teams for design validation and sign-off.
Implementation & Integration
* Guide development teams during build and implementation phases.
* Design and implement solutions, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
* Develop web applications using GSS, Java, and open-source technologies.
* Integrate GE Small world with external systems via REST APIs using GSS.
Data Management
* Design data update services for external integrations.
* Manage data migration from legacy systems to Small world.
Documentation & Communication
* Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and client-facing presentations.
Your Profile Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience
* Expertise in GE Small world Product Suite and layered products.
* Strong knowledge of Small world 5.x architecture, Mobile Enterprise Suite, and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
* Proficiency in GSS, JavaScript, HTML5 for mobile and web development.
* Experience with system integrations like IBM Maximo.
