Overview
We are looking for an inspirational Lecturer to take on an exciting new role within our Motor Vehicle department at our Ellesmere Port Campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and teach a range of Motor Vehicle Service and Repair courses, including PHEV, Electrical Vehicle, MOT Test and Air Conditioning.
* Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment.
* Keep accurate records of learners’ progress.
Key Person Specification Requirements
* Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a discipline related to Motor Vehicle Service and Repair.
* GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
* PGCE or commitment to work towards.
* Minimum 3 years industry experience.
* Up-to-date industry experience.
* Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the learning environment.
* Enhanced DBS check.
Lecturer Development Programme
All new lecturers will be supported through a comprehensive development programme, including an induction to all College systems, an assigned curriculum mentor, and regular 1‑to‑1 support from the Quality team. Industry practitioners without a teaching qualification will receive a 12‑week Introduction to Teaching training.
