Technical SupervisorLocation:Kingston, KT2 7PDSalary:Up to £55,000 per annum plus £250 per month overtime allowanceContract:40 hours per weekHours: Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient delivery of engineering and maintenance services on site. You will manage PPM, reactive maintenance, minor works, contractors, and on-site teams, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, statutory legislation, and contractual SLAs.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day hard services operations, including PPM, reactive maintenance, and minor worksSupervise employees and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to budgetLead and promote a strong health & safety culture on siteEnsure compliance with all statutory, client, and company H&S requirementsManage permits, risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of workCoordinate contractors, quotations, and works delivery to agreed specificationsRespond to emergency call-outs and support out-of-hours maintenance when requiredEnsure all maintenance, compliance, and audit documentation is accurate and up to dateSupport asset and security management on siteDrive cost efficiencies and best value deliveryTeam LeadershipLead, develop, and engage a multi-skilled teamEnsure effective inductions, training, and ongoing developmentConduct performance reviews, appraisals, and return-to-work interviewsPromote a “One Team” approach and strong communication across servicesWhat We're Looking ForQualified in Mechanical engineering to NVQ 2 with practical experience ORNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or similar18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)Strong health and safety knowledgeProven background in multi skilled engineering disciplinesProven experience in a Supervisory role in building servicesBuilding Services, Mechanical Engineering.Experience of maintaining, Gas boilers Compressed air systems, BMS systems, water treatment & Chilled water systems, AHU's, VAV, FCU, VRV and refrigerant systems.IT Literacy essential.Experienced in working with CAFM systems.Previous experience in small works pricing and management of subcontractorsKnowledge/training - L8 Water systems managementPrevious experience of managing a team in a similar working environmentWhy Sodexo?:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.Belongin a company and team that values you for you.
