1:1 Teaching Assistant – SEN School (ASC & Complex Medical Needs | Full-Time, Long-Term) Start Date: Immediate Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term ABC Teachers are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student in a secondary SEN school with a primary diagnosis of Autism (ASC) and complex medical needs. This is a full-time, long-term position requiring a candidate with a strong healthcare, medical or care background. About the Role As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide dedicated, 1:1 support to a student with ASC and medical needs • Support with healthcare routines and wellbeing throughout the school day • Assist with learning activities and classroom engagement • Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals • Help maintain a safe, structured and supportive environment This role is a balance of healthcare support and educational support.
