Senior Product Manager - Memory
The Role:
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for discovering quality products, testing them, negotiating prices, determining order quantities based on forecasts and stock levels, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to promote and sell the products. You will define and expand the product range, working closely with Suppliers, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Sales teams to bring products to market.

Main Job Responsibilities:
* Manage Solid State Drive (SSD) and enterprise server product portfolios
* Collaborate with the Sales Team to work with resellers, data centres, and enterprise customers
* Analyze order and sales data to monitor product performance and stock levels
* Negotiate with suppliers to optimize pricing and terms
* Identify new sales opportunities and platforms, and oversee product data feeds
* Develop understanding of new products, technologies, and market trends through supplier visits
* Evaluate new suppliers for quality and competitive advantages
* Coordinate with customer service, sales, and technical teams to address quality issues
* Develop strategies to respond to market competition
* Set pricing and lead-time guidance for the sales team
* Train sales and marketing teams on product features and technical support
* Establish go-to-market strategies and lead product launches
* Use sales data to forecast future sales
* Build relationships with vendors to develop product roadmaps and introduce innovative products
* Monitor shipments and lead-times, communicating delays promptly
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience with storage solutions, including SSD and enterprise server/data centre products, in distribution, reselling, or specifying roles
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of end-user requirements for new technologies in data centres and enterprise markets
* Excellent knowledge of memory products, trends, and market dynamics
* Experience working with digital and e-commerce teams to support marketing and sales
* Experience in inventory planning and demand forecasting
* Proven ability to negotiate and set pricing strategies
* Proactive, responsible, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas
