As part of its strategic growth, the business is seeking a talented Group Financial Accountant to strengthen its finance function and support senior leadership.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of key financial processes and reporting across the group. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing ie accounting and controls across all homes and funding streams
2. Overseeing intepany accounting, reconciliation, and settlement
3. Analysing staff costs and preparing accruals
4. Supporting internal reporting including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
5. Monitoring covenantpliance and advising on risk mitigation
6. Liaising with auditors and overseeing statutory accounts preparation
7. Managing corporation tax packs andpany secretarial duties
8. Leading VATpliance and optimisation, including inspections
9. Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and project accounting for new builds
10. Driving strategic projects such as acquisitions, system migrations, and process improvements

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
11. A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience
12. Proven experience in group financial accounting and reporting
13. Good knowledge of UK tax
14. Advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset
15. Excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal
16. A proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach to work
17. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure
