Job Description

Salary: £27,642, rising to £29,407, after 9-month probation

Location: This office-based role requires flexibility to work between our Preston and Blackburn offices.

Hours: Mon-Fri (9-5pm)

Your Role

As an Employability Tutor/Trainer you will deliver high impact, engaging and interactive employment skills to groups of participants via workshops and to individuals via 1-2-1 tutored sessions.


What You'll Be Doing

* Facilitating face to face or digital employability sessions to groups of participants via workshops, and to individuals via 1-2-1 sessions
* Selecting appropriate facilitation methods or activities, design and develop interventions which meet participant requirements to develop realistic job goals and career paths
* Managing participants both face to face and virtually, encouraging participation and ongoing engagement with employability interventions
* Collaborating with operational teams to offer high impact and engaging training solutions to meet a range of participants needs including mock interviews, ‘how to’ sessions and other work preparation activities
* Meeting personal performance targets, Key Performance Indicators and all Quality and Compliance measures by delivering high quality employability provision to participants, both remotely and face to face
* Providing advice, guidance, and challenge where appropriate to develop customer’s capability in the recruitment process ensuring they have the necessary skills and confidence to secure realistic job goals
* Developing relationships and networks with key stakeholders including employers, Job Centre teams and provisions and funding providers to ensure smooth operation of all processes


What You'll Need

* Ability to embrace our company values which are Kindness, Respect, Integrity, and Innovation!
* Experience of delivering high impact, engaging and interactive group training sessions
* Experience of working in a customer focused, results driven environment
* Experience of providing one to one support and coaching to individuals with the ability to constructively challenge where needed.
* A recognised Teaching or Training qualification ideal but not essential (Celta, PTLLS, ESOL).
