We are currently seeking an experienced Data Manager to join a thriving secondary school on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to make an immediate impact and support the school through a period of absence cover.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the school's MIS (Management Information System) to ensure data is accurate and up to date.
Producing reports and analysis to support senior leadership and teaching staff.
Overseeing assessment data, attendance, timetabling, and student records.
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding regulations when handling sensitive data.
Providing training and support to staff on data systems and processes.
Supporting whole-school improvement by identifying trends and patterns in student performance data.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience working as a Data Manager (preferably within a school setting).
Strong knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or similar school MIS systems.
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and data reporting.
High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
