The People & Culture Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the People & Culture team. This position ensures the smooth delivery of core HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, recruitment support, right-to-work compliance, HR data management, and employee documentation. The role also supports the Learning & Development function by assisting with training creation and delivery. This position is central to creating a positive employee experience through accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service.

Daily Operations
* Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring that all data entries, adjustments and changes are correctly captured.
* Manage payroll related queries from employees and managers, providing clear and timely responses.
* Liaise with benefit providers when required and resolve issues or process changes.
* Prepare and issue all employee paperwork, including contracts, offer letters, change letters, and any other required documentation.
* Maintain organised digital employee files with all required documentation stored correctly.
* Provide day to day support to employees on HR related questions, policies, processes and benefits.
* Conduct telephone screenings for shortlisted candidates to support the recruitment process.
* Manage the employee onboarding process, ensuring new starters receive a smooth, welcoming, and well‑organised introduction to the organisation.
* Keep the HR system fully up to date, ensuring all employee information, changes, and documentation are accurately recorded.
* Process all HR data changes, including new starters, leavers, promotions, salary changes, and contractual updates.
* Assist with People & Culture projects, engagement initiatives, and events.
* Support engagement activities, reward and recognition programmes, and internal communications.
