We are seeking a new Care Team Leader at Caremark Worcester. In this position, you can leverage your experience and grow within the care industry. If you are ready to take the next step, you will work closely with the office management team and colleagues to deliver the highest quality care service.
This role is primarily to provide support to customers. As a Care Team Leader, you would also assist the Field Care Supervisor with the following:
* Shadow new staff during shifts, providing a full introduction to care, procedures, and role expectations. Support staff retention and ensure understanding of how Access works.
* Report any concerns regarding staff or customers to the office.
* Ensure medication is administered correctly to customers.
* Build rapport with staff, customers, and office personnel, promoting strong relationships.
* Cover the on-call emergency phone as required.
* Guide and mentor Care and Support Workers, as requested by the Deputy Manager.
* Conduct introductory visits with new customers.
* Perform spot checks, moving and handling, and medication checks.
* Collect information and documentation from customers' homes as directed by managers.
* Provide care and support to our customers.
Training will be provided. It is expected that the Care Team Leader will have prior experience in delivering care. There are opportunities for progression within Caremark Worcester and Malvern Hills.
