We have a dedicated team of Neonatal Nurses, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Consultants and Practice Development nurses. As part of the All Wales Neonatal Network Transport Service, we care not only for babies and their families born in our Health Board but from the whole of Wales. We also have a dedicated Neonatal Outreach Service.
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. This includes all aspects of family integrated care including oral medication administration. There will be training provided for this through an Agored Cymru education module which will take six months to complete. This course is essential to the role.
Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity available for a nursery nurse NNEB or equivalent qualification to join the Neonatal Team at the Grange University Hospital. Why not come and join our Neonatal Team.
You will be expected to support families in our special care nurseries.
In hospital your role will be to promote Family Integrated Care, covering all aspects of parent craft to improve parents confidence and competence.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
