I am partnering with a fantastic business to bring on an Accounts Payable Manager, for a 12 month Maternity contract cover.
* Hybrid: 4 days in the office 1 from home
* Location: London
* Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on experience
What can you expect?
* Oversee timely and accurate invoice processing and payments across the Group.
* Ensure AP sub-ledger is well-maintained with timely allocations and reconciliations.
* Support financial accounting with monthly accruals, prepayments, and spend analysis.
* Maintain high service standards through responsive communication with suppliers and departments.
* Drive P2P process improvements to support growth and develop a best-in-class function.
* Collaborate with Procurement to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
* Develop insightful reporting for senior leadership and maintain process documentation.
* Educate the wider business to ensure adherence to financial procedures.
* Lead and support a team of AP professionals, ensuring effective resource planning.
* Set and monitor SLAs/KPIs to drive performance and service excellence.
* Provide ongoing training, development, and formal appraisals aligned with HR processes.
* Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
What skills can you bring?
* Proven success in a similar managerial role, with experience transforming AP functions and leading teams through change.
* Background in large, multi-site organisations.
* Industry background - Hospitality, Retail, Property.
* Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel.
