Overview
Provide first-line support for global ERP systems, primarily Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, during its transition to D365 Finance and Operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, user support, system monitoring, and supporting the upgrade process. The ideal candidate will have experience in ERP application support, working with business users across multiple regions, ensuring smooth operations in finance, procurement, inventory, projects, and manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Deliver first-line support for AX 2012 and D365 F&O across various regions, including the UK, US, Canada, Australia, the Middle East, and Qatar.
2. Diagnose and resolve system issues promptly to support end-users.
3. Escalate complex issues to higher support levels as needed.
4. Contribute to user training and document common issues and solutions.
5. Assist with ERP upgrades, patches, and testing during the D365 implementation.
6. Collaborate with finance, procurement, inventory, and project teams to maintain efficient ERP processes.
7. Monitor system performance and report critical issues proactively.
8. Work with IT and business teams to promote process improvements.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
1. Degree in information systems, business management, or a related field (preferred).
2. Experience with SQL and Microsoft SSRS.
3. Support experience with Tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AX).
4. Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 F&O (essential).
5. Understanding of finance, procurement, inventory, or manufacturing modules within an ERP system.
6. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience documenting support tickets.
7. Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical users.
8. Experience with SQL, Power BI, or SSRS.
9. Knowledge of quality assurance practices and methodologies.
10. Strong customer-service orientation.
11. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
12. Ability to translate technical ideas into user-friendly language.
13. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks in high-pressure environments.
14. Experience working collaboratively in team environments.
15. Knowledge of data privacy laws and practices.
