Job Description Business Development Executive Overview We’re delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join a growing and supportive team in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven B2B sales experience who thrives on generating new business, building relationships, and driving revenue. You’ll be focusing on outbound sales activity, qualifying leads, and securing appointments — with the opportunity to take on account management responsibilities over time. This is a permanent hybrid role, offering variety, progression, and excellent earning potential. Details: Permanent, full-time position Hybrid working – office-based Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, remote Monday and Friday £27,000 – £31,000 basic salary (depending on experience) Generous annual commission Career development opportunities Responsibilities: Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound calls, cold calling, and marketing follow-ups Qualify leads and book appointments for the sales team Contribute to coordinated sales and marketing campaigns Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts Produce accurate quotes and proposals within agreed timescales Ensure CRM records and sales administration are kept up to date Provide customer service support, sharing insights on competitors and market trends Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ B2B business development experience Proven success in cold calling, lead generation, and customer acquisition Excellent communication and rapport-building skills Strong organisational skills and ability to balance sales activity with admin tasks Telecoms experience is not essential but would be advantageous If you’re a motivated Business Development Executive with a track record of generating new business and building lasting client relationships, we’d love to hear from you.
