Responsibilities
* Coordinate a diverse portfolio of events, ensuring they are delivered to a consistently high standard and within agreed timelines.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure each event runs smoothly and efficiently.
* Provide professional and consistent support during events, including occasional evening and weekend commitments.
* Oversee event budgets, contracts and invoicing, maintaining accurate financial and administrative records.
* Support the development and implementation of event policies, guidance and best practices across Hartpury.
* Maintain effective event management systems and reporting tools to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
* Promote the Event Services function externally, encouraging, cost‑effective, high quality and strategically beneficial events at Hartpury.
* Uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance and inclusivity in all aspects of event planning and delivery.
Qualifications
* Proven client‑facing experience, working with a range of stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, with confidence in liaising at all levels.
* The ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects from planning through to delivery.
* Proficiency in relevant event management systems and software.
* A professional and flexible approach, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
