The general hours of work are 40 hours per week, guaranteed. Night shifts are Sunday to Thursday 8pm - 5am, day shifts are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm, with the option of overtime. About the role of HGV Driver HBS is currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (CE) driver to join our team at our Shotts depot, Scotland. This is a full-time, hands-on role ideal for someone with a background in the military, construction or agriculture who enjoys variety and responsibility in their work. You'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of plant and safety barrier materials to and from various sites. The role involves both day and night shifts, depending on workload, and requires a level of physical fitness to assist with loading and unloading. What We're Looking For: We're after someone who not only holds an HGV Class 2 licence but also brings a positive, can-do attitude to the job. Here's what makes a great candidate: Must-Haves: Valid Class CE licence Eligibility to work in the UK, unsponsored Digi card and full Driver CPC HGV driving experience No more than 6 penalty points Skilled in using ratchet straps CPCS Health and Safety card Punctual, with strong communication skills Flexibility to work shift patterns - days.nights and weekends Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Hi-AB (lorry loader hook) Familiarity with Clamshell bucket operations Excavator experience If you're a dependable driver who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
