Job Title: Project Controls Manager
As a Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that key project risks and constraints are identified early to inform client decision-making.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join the Egis Transportation Solutions team within our Programme Management Office. This role involves delivering projects for our clients, contributing to the growth of the ETS business, and managing other Project Controls Specialists to ensure successful delivery of transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety: Promote our behavioural safety strategy across all projects to ensure team well-being and safe project delivery.
2. Client Delivery: Lead the delivery of services, manage client relationships, and oversee the work quality of Project Controls Specialists.
3. Process Optimization: Improve project control processes through digital solutions or clear reporting cadences.
4. Technical Knowledge: Manage various project controls systems and integrate different systems like Primavera and BIM.
5. Strategic Support: Collaborate on business planning to meet targets.
6. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support your team, ensuring objectives and development plans are in place.
7. Work Winning: Support bid processes for tenders, ensuring adequate project controls support.
8. Utilization: Maximize the utilization of your team and yourself according to targets.
9. Finance/Business Management: Manage project budgets and participate in reviews.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in infrastructure project delivery and project controls.
* Proven track record in delivering major projects within a consultancy.
* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
* Financial acumen and project budget management experience.
* Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field; Chartered status preferred.
* Knowledge of the rail sector is desirable.
