Job description
Sundown Products is a family-owned company manufacturing animal feed and bedding from straw.
The factory operates on a 24hr/ 5 Panama shift system
Each shift consists of two multi- skilled operators and a multi-skilled shift manager per shift.
The advertised position is for a Production Operator and the working hours are:
Monday to Friday: 07:00am – 15:00pm
Pay: £15.06 / hour
The candidate
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, needing minimal supervision, tidy, organised and can manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
Required
* Telehandler Licence/ experience
Desirable
* FLT licence
* Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
* A good level of physical fitness (due to handling products up to 20KG
Duties to include:
* Loading/unloading of vehicles using the Telehandler
* General yard duties
* Machine operating
* Housekeeping
* Other general related Production tasks
This position will suit someone who is reliable and keen to learn and grow within the business.
