CNC Programmer – Lathes (Day Shift) Dudley | £17–£19 per hour | Day Shift A well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Dudley is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer (Lathes) to join its growing production team on a permanent day shift.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that delivers high-quality machined components to a range of industries using modern CNC machinery and proven engineering expertise.Key Responsibilities:
o Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
o Editing and optimising programs to improve efficiency and quality
o Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
o Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machine parameters
o Conducting first-off inspections and maintaining quality standards
o Supporting continuous improvement within the machining process
Requirements:
o Proven experience programming CNC lathes
o Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
o Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds
o Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol, or similar controls (preferred)
o Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
