Overview
Join our growing Commerce Engineering team as a Forward Deployed Engineer and help architect and deliver the next generation of commerce solutions. The role focuses on designing and building AI‑driven and Generative AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP to support leading global brands.
Responsibilities
* Lead client‑facing engagements, acting as the primary technical authority in workshops and designing solutions that use Generative AI to address business challenges.
* Architect, build, and ship full‑stack AI‑powered solutions from inception to production, including agentic workflows in Python and integrations with LLMs (Nvidia, Writer, OpenAI/ChatGPT, Google Gemini).
* Design data flows and integrations between AI/ML models and enterprise experience platforms (DAM, PXM, CDP, CMS, CRM) to enrich and structure data for commerce.
* Build and maintain robust database solutions using SQL and NoSQL, and develop complex stored procedures for large‑scale commerce data.
* Contribute to technology strategy, mentor engineering teams, and share insights across the Accenture Data & AI community.
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven client‑facing or forward‑deployed engineering experience, translating business requirements into technical architecture.
* Strong full‑stack development skills with Python for AI/ML and data processing.
* Experience deploying solutions on Azure or GCP, covering networking, security, storage, and monitoring.
* Demonstrated integration with Generative AI services (OpenAI API, Vertex AI, Azure ML) and familiarity with core AI/ML architectural patterns such as RAG and data drift detection.
* Deep knowledge of integrating AI/ML with enterprise experience platforms (DAM, PXM, CDP, CMS, CRM).
* Advanced SQL and NoSQL database management, including stored procedures.
* Background in modern software engineering and DevSecOps practices.
Desired Add‑ons
* Professional cloud certification (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
* Experience with MLOps frameworks and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate).
* Portfolio of proof‑of‑concepts demonstrating rapid learning and application of new technologies.
* Experience delivering production AI/ML services for retail or CPG sectors.
