Our head office is based in Chorley, and we support a hybrid working model that offers you the flexibility to work from home.
About Us
Founded in 1994 by a former foster parent and social worker, Foster Care Associates (FCA) is a well-established fostering agency and part of the Polaris Community, one of the UK's largest networks of children's service providers.
Born from a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of looked-after children, FCA has grown significantly while maintaining a strong reputation for excellence. Our mission is simple yet powerful: 'to make a positive and lasting difference for children, families, and communities.' We are driven by values that help children and young people reach their full potential.
Today, we are proud to be one of the country's largest and most experienced independent fostering agencies. Despite our size, we remain a close-knit family, dedicated to supporting every child and foster parent, every minute of the day.

* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
* Collaborate in a team parenting approach to identify needs within the foster family, including respite, activities, and therapy.
* Ensure compliance with all key documentation for each child and foster parent.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams regarding individual care packages.
* Promote the participation of children and young people in agency development and community resources.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
