Our exclusive client based in Accrington are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant. This niche company is doing fantastically well and have great plans for the next few years and need a strong Accounts Assistant to take over the day to day transactional accounting duties.
Duties include:
Full autonomy of the purchase ledger including processing, checking, scanning and sending out invoices
Statement reconciliations and dealing with supplier queries
Preparing the monthly payment run
Processing expenses including credit cards and personal business expenses
Checking profit margins on invoices and check with sales team where necessary
Emailing invoices to customers
Raising credit notes and emailing them to customers
Assist the management accountant in other tasks regarding the preparation of the accounts on financial monitoring of the business
The role requires someone with excellent purchase ledger experience, someone who can work on their own intuitive, who has a good attention to detail and excellent level of accuracy.
