Staffline Recruitment are working in partnership with our client, a company who specialise in the storage and distribution of coffee to roasteries across Ireland and the UK and are based at Boucher Industrial Estate in Belfast who are seeking a reach forklift driver to join their team on a permanent basis
Salary: £ to £ depending on experience
Hours: 40 hour week - Monday to Friday
Essential Criteria:
1. Must have at least a year's recent experience in a similiar warehouse role as a reach truck driver
2. Must have up to date reach truck licence
3. Able to work in a fast paced environment
4. Able to work on own initiative and be part of a small team
5. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as and when required
6. Attention to detail
Job Duties:
7. Operate reach forklift to load and unload palletised coffee and other goods from lorries and containers
8. Move materials within the warehouse, while using an inventory management system
9. Load and unload materials, ensuring that products are handled correctly and stored appropriately
10. Ensure proper stacking and storage of pallets to maximise space efficiency and organisation
11. Conduct regular inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain operational safety
12. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
13. Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and labelling items for distribution
14. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
15. Participate in other duties as and when required to support the smooth operation of the business
