Role Information
As a Maths Tutor, you will support learners in developing their maths skills and confidence, guiding them towards achieving nationally recognized qualifications. You will be part of a nationwide team, working closely with colleagues to create tailored learning experiences. You will have the flexibility to bring your creativity and passion into every lesson, with support from a subject specialist manager and vocational tutors.
We are currently recruiting for a part-time English Tutor within our Maths & English division, working 9.50 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills maths sessions.
* Assess learners' starting points and development needs.
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet expectations.
* Complete Individual Learning Plans with SMART targets and reviews.
* Handle administrative tasks like registers and performance documentation.
* Collaborate with vocational colleagues to support retention, achievement, and progression.
* Ensure assessments meet awarding body and organizational standards.
* Participate in team meetings, standardization, and moderation activities.
* Promote safe working practices, safeguarding, and health and safety compliance.
* Engage in continuous professional development.

Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Maths Tutor with at least L3 specialism.
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in GCSE/Functional Skills.
* Teaching qualification at least L3.
* Valid driving license.
