Our Lighting Team is seeking a Senior Lighting Engineer to drive the future of lighting across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence infrastructure projects from conception through completion.
Each team member has a development plan to provide a clear pathway to personal development and career progression. The team provides technical leadership of projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle from feasibility preliminary and detailed stage designs in some cases through construction.
Our clients are many and varied from the private and public sector working with numerous local authorities and internal clients from transport rail etc.
Heres what youll do:
* Develop: Manage engineering tasks explore subject areas define project scopes and create unique solutions.
* Advise: Provide expert technical knowledge and support across multi-disciplinary projects.
* Design: From conceptual stages to implementation which will include site visits lighting designs private cable calculation designs CAD designs production of lighting specifications Bills of Quantities and liaison with DNO suppliers.
* Ensure Quality: Strong efficiencies on quality and budget control on projects navigate the complexities of transportation and landscape projects working with clients to address and resolve challenges.
* Collaborate: Build strong relationships with technical teams and clients leading multi-disciplinary efforts to achieve integrated design solutions.

Requirements:3>
* Relevant Technical Qualifications: Ideally you possess an ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related technical field.
* Proven Design Experience: Demonstrated success in a lighting design environment with a proactive and creative approach to problem‑solving.
* Software Proficiency: Proficient in industry‑standard software including Lighting Reality AGi32 Dialux and Amtech Pro Design to create and assess detailed lighting schemes.
* Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently and diplomatically engage with staff, colleagues and clients.
* Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure projects are delivered on schedule within budget and to the highest quality standards. Manage client expectations and project requirements from inception through to completion.
