About the Role: This is a permanent opportunity to join an existing Neonatal Nursing Unit (NNU) team. As a key member of the Senior Nursing Team, you will play a crucial role in expanding and developing the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care services for the Trust. Your leadership will be instrumental in translating organisational and Care Group objectives into operational reality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on quality, safety, and patient experience across Neonatal inpatient & outpatient departments, Neonatal Outreach nurses, and Transitional Care.
* Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and Care Group agenda.
* Provide proactive and visible leadership across service, people, quality, and collaborative areas.
* Resolve clinical issues swiftly to minimise impact on patient care.
* Develop the professional practice of the non-medical clinical workforce in collaboration with the Learning and Development Department.
* Represent the organisation on local, regional, and national committees or working groups.
* Ensure effective communication pathways for ‘Ward to Board’ and ‘Board to Ward’ reporting.
* Manage non-medical clinical staff and a specified budget to support the delivery of Care Group key performance indicators.
