We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join us at our Head Office in Pampisford! If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team to oversee the marketing activity for two of our specialist distribution businesses - Civils & Lintels, and PDM in Scotland. Regular travel (fully expensed) will be required to Scotland, our branches and our other Head Office in Anglesey, so a full UK drivers licence is required. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of our external marketing efforts from planning and strategy to execution and analysis. You'll need to take a hands-on approach and demonstrate a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies with a strong focus on digital marketing, CRM and automation. Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Marketing Manager with Huws Gray: Marketing Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement marketing plans to support the growth of the businesses Create compelling content and collateral to promote the businesses and product(s) across various channels, including digital, print, and PR ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and elevating voice of authority in sector – more than just a supplier of products Coordinate with external agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials Liaise with key supply chain partners to ensure product information is accurate Coordinate and oversee the creation of video content to support product promotion, application examples, and case studies Digital Marketing: Monitor and analyse digital marketing performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation Work closely with colleagues in the digital team to execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO and paid digital advertising, working to clear objectives and metrics for post campaign analysis Utilise Click Dimensions to build customer comms; monthly newsletters, price increase notifications, hospitality invitations and charity fundraising activities Feed social content into the Social Media Manager to post and agree content calendar Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the industry Gather and analyse data to inform marketing strategies and decisions Track key marketing metrics, activities, spends, and outcomes Monitoring competitor digital activity Project Management and Collaboration: Take ownership of marketing projects, planning, delivering, executing, and reporting on initiatives that drive awareness, recognition, and engagement with target audiences in the civil engineering and housebuilding sectors Manage and oversee the workload and development of a Marketing Executive Manage and oversee the workload of retained PR consultant/ case study copywriter Work alongside other teams within the business to coordinate marketing activities Curate relationships with external agencies; creative agency, web host company, print/promo supplier and photographers/videographers Provide support and marketing guidance to the broader marketing team We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team.
