Job title: Mechanical Supervisor (Nightshift)
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £44,000 (Plus nightshift allowance)
What you'll be doing:
Leveraging your Mechanical Engineering experience, to lead and supervise a multiskilled team to ensure that all activities are completed on time and of the quality of output consistent with operational standard and requirement.
* Installing main machinery
* Reading and understanding technical drawings
* Set up and aligning shafts thrusters, rudders gear boxes, pumps and commissioning mechanical equipment
* Set work to the team to maximise utilisation of labour and meet delivery schedules
* Providing technical advice to the team and identify process improvements
* Updating all relevant documents including daily progress registers, log books, accident book, training, performance and attendance.
Experience
* Educated to HNC level in a related subject
* Supervisory experience in an industrial environment
* IT skills- MS Office
