Department of Chemistry - Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery, New Biochemistry Building, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QU Applications are invited for a Research Assistant in Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Philipp Kukura. The post holder will support key research activities within the group, contributing to projects focused on the integration of mass photometry with other techniques. The position is funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC). The appointment is fixed-term for 6 months in the first instance, available from 1 April 2026. The post is part-time (0.6 fte, 22.5 hours per week) and will be based in the Department of Chemistry and the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery, University of Oxford. About you Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in Chemistry or a relevant science discipline prior to taking up the appointment. You will have experience relevant to laboratory-based research and be able to work effectively within an established research programme. Essential experience includes:
1. Optical microscopy
2. Mass photometry
3. Molecular electronics
You will be expected to manage your own research activities under guidance, contribute to experimental work, analyse and present scientific data, and work collaboratively within the research group. Application process
