We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Geography Teacher to join secondary schools in the Great Yarmouth area. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them develop knowledge of physical and human geography, analytical skills, and an understanding of global and local environments. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as Geography Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Use a variety of teaching strategies, including fieldwork, map skills, and GIS applications, to enhance learning.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
* Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities such as geography clubs, trips, and competitions.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
Ideal Geography Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Geography Teacher.
* Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students of all abilities.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
