We are looking for an Efficiency Lead to join Thames Water on a permanent basis.
You will lead the identification, development, and delivery of efficiency initiatives across water networks and production within Asset Operations & Capital Delivery. Manage a small team of Efficiency Specialists, each delivering multiple projects, while also directly leading initiatives.
You can be based at any of the following location however, travelling will be required:

What should you bring to the role as an Efficiency Lead
1. Champion a strong Health & Safety culture and always ensure compliance
2. Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing, inclusive team
3. Lead delivery of efficiency projects using agile ways of working
4. Plan, prioritise, and manage capacity to maximise value and impact
5. Develop and govern project plans, risks, and benefits through agreed processes
6. Use data (e.g. SCADA, GIS, SAP, Salesforce) to identify opportunities and track KPIs
7. Produce dashboards, reports, and clear insights for stakeholders
8. Engage regularly with operational teams on site to drive efficiency ideas
9. Manage stakeholders, escalate risks, and report progress through governance forums
10. Ensure benefits are captured, signed off by Finance, and deliver commercial value
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need are:

12. Strong stakeholder engagement ability and can easily build relationships
13. Track record of delivery within general operational management and an appreciation as well as an understanding of Water Operations
14. Ability to problem-solve and interpret data
15. Can work as part of a team through effective engagement and collaboration
16. Competent with Office 365
17. Due to the nature of the role, a Full UK Driving Licence is required
