This Administrative Support position reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs and is responsible for the Student Services front desk, which includes a high volume of phone, email, and walk-in traffic. This position supports the operations of Counseling, The Accessibility Office, Keystone Education Yields Success (KEYS), the Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP), Veteran & Military Connected Student Services, Basic Needs initiatives (including the food pantry), and various needs of the Vice President of Student Affairs. This role serves as a first point of contact for information related to Student Services for students, faculty, staff, and community members, in-person, by phone, or via email - representing all three campuses as well as Bucks online. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work without close supervision. The individual in this role must be flexible and be able to accomplish the required tasks in a comprehensive and timely manner in a high traffic environment. The ability to maintain confidentiality with all client communications is required. This position will also perform
other duties as assigned.
Primary Functions
* Responsible for administrative assistant duties required by Student Services including front desk management, providing guidance to student workers, managing phone, email, and mail correspondence, walk-in traffic, scheduling appointments for various areas, website updates, supply purchasing, and reports.
* Provides assistance with food pantry operations.
* Coordinate and assist with scheduling meetings and in dissemination of college wide student engagement calendar.
* Analyze problems/issues and find solutions; in the VP's absence, represent Student Services at various events as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Secondary Function
* Interrelates regularly with members of the enrollment services, student life, athletics, and other college offices.
Minimum Qualifications
* High School diploma or general equivalency and 3 years of related work experience or Associate degree
* Administrative office experience
* Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
* Competency in fundamental office management
* High level of customer service and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters related to daily operation of the Student Affairs Division
* Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.
