Job Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Paediatric Staff Nurses to work on our busy Paediatric Emergency Care Centre at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary.

We collaborate closely with ambulance services and specialist teams both within the hospital and in the community to ensure timely and appropriate care. Our co-located GP/MIU facilitates easy referrals and collaborative case management, which has been highly successful.
We offer flexible working patterns on a roster basis, including days, nights, and weekends, to meet patient needs and promote a fair working environment.

Main duties of the job
* Provide high standards of care to children and their families.
* Perform well within the multidisciplinary team.
* Uphold the NMC code of conduct.
* Adhere to trust policies and procedures.
* Ensure a high standard of evidence-based care is maintained.
* Participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
* Organise, delegate, and prioritise workload within the Paediatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC).
* Ensure effective department operation in the absence of senior staff.
* Commit to self-development in the dynamic environment of emergency care.
