Role: Production Operative
They are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operative to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of SMC and BMC materials for their diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
* Ensure the correct handling, mixing, and processing of raw materials
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company and customer specifications
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* Complete production documentation and reports as required
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
* Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
* Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required
* Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
* FLT License ideal
* Be able to work rotational shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10am (TOIL available)
