What will the role look like?
As a Process Technician, you will be an essential part of site production, operating state-of-the-art machinery daily. You will have the opportunity to make an impact by generating ideas and implementing improvements. You will be a problem solver, a technical expert, and a key person for all liquid processing activities. Additionally, you will be a valued team member working within a quality-driven, passionate team.
Your main goal is to ensure the optimal use of equipment and to implement ONECI initiatives, leading to tangible savings. You will also be responsible for training Process Technicians to become Plant Masters and ensuring the correct behaviors and efficiency of the equipment in use.
Key responsibilities include:
* Contributing to a healthy, inclusive, and safe work environment, and exemplifying our character mindset.
* Supporting Continuous Improvement through Lean Tools.
* Monitoring departmental KPIs, minimizing, managing, and reporting losses.
* Operating machines and processing equipment via operating interfaces.
* Identifying and addressing root causes of problems.
* Running departmental processes and resolving process failures.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, and implementing solutions.
* Participating in the development and optimization of washing processes.
* Ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards within your area, including HACCP procedures.
* Handling nonconforming products and determining pass/fail criteria.
* Managing product recipes, article numbers, and additives, understanding their functions.
* Organizing projects and implementing changes independently, reporting progress to the Team Leader or SLT.
* Exercising good time management and demonstrating priority-driven leadership.
Background/experience

The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
* A natural problem-solving ability.
* A strong sense of professional integrity and a passion for high-quality work with a safety mindset.
* The ability to work independently and make decisions.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Proficiency in Plant Master.
* Previous technician experience or similar roles are preferred.
*Please note that this is a days-based secondment role, which may include both day and night shifts as needed. The secondment lasts for 6 months, with specific goals to be discussed during the interview process, including proving real savings.
