Engineering Planning Manager - Belfast - Days - Salary up to £53500 (DoE)

Your New Role
Whilst on shift your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
To coordinate and plan engineering maintenance activities through EAM System • To support the implementation and control of the EAM System across all phases • To drive effectiveness of weekly workplans and improve the utilisation of the craft group • To review and develop a Planned Maintenance System ensuring the content is correct,pletion times are specified and the frequency of inspections reflect the running hours of individual plants/lines • To utilise the work plans and planned maintenance systems to achieve the required targetpletion rates • Develop, implement and manage new maintenance techniques such as thermographics, vibration and oil analysis ensuring all engineering personnel fully understand theory and application • Incorporate training and development of craftsmen into workplans through information sharing with other experienced craftsmen or by specific training with machine suppliers.
Organise systems and databases to ensure the engineering aspects of health and safety, quality and continuous improvement are covered and managed • Introduce sustainable systems that interface and coordinate with stores ensuring that all items for repair or on order are tracked • To support the Engineering Stores to maintain correct inventory levels • To ensure that all maintenance procedures are documented for auditing purposes • To present daily and weekly KPI’s on Engineering performance • Tomunicate weekly engineering plans to all departments.
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Essential
Minimum ONC, City and Guilds or equivalent • Understanding of the requirements of H&S Regulations/Legislation directly related to engineering • 5 years experience within Maintenance Engineering • Specific experience within an Engineering background as a time-served dual or multi-skilled craftsman in a food manufacturing facility.
Advantageous
Maintenance planning experience.
