Job Purpose
Generating and closing new customers to becoming ‘greener’ and offering Green D + HVO which is a renewable, biodegradable, and sustainable fuel. Generating new business opportunities, managing and developing the customer database, providing customer support, and ensuring the best possible service. Building strong customer relationships.
Overview
We are a well-established fuel and lubricants company that is growing from strength to strength, built on over 100 years of expertise in the fuel and lubricants industry. As a result of new business and further expansion, we are looking to employ a full-time Sales Administrator to join our Future Fuels Sales department.
There is scope for great career progression at New Era Fuels to move into even more senior roles as your knowledge of the company and their product offering widens.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate new business opportunities and open new customer accounts via various inbound and outbound techniques i.e., cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, networking events and google.
* Educating existing New Era Customers about Green D + HVO and persuading them to choose the greener option, creating proposals for them to share with the wider team and booking in teams’ meetings.
* Take inbound orders/enquiries from various sources including telephone calls, emails, and website enquiries.
* Building relationships with customers and managing a pipeline.
* Putting orders on the NetSuite system and keeping the customer up to date with an ETA and checking how the delivery went with the customer to ensure a repeat order and to also grow the account in the aim to have all sites using Green D + HVO.
Person Specification
* Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
* Excellent communication abilities, oral, written, and face-to-face
* Organisational, administrative and IT skills
* Drive, determination, and ownership of role.
* Experience in construction, plant, or the oil industry preferable.
* An ability to ask intelligent, informed questions of the prospect to fully establish their requirements, and communicate this back to the team
