About the Role The school is seeking a Female PE Teacher due to the requirement to teach girls’ physical education. Responsibilities will include: • Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 • Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that promote fitness, skill development and confidence • Leading girls’ PE sessions, teams and extracurricular activities • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback • Contributing to curriculum development and department initiatives • Supporting school sports events, fixtures, tournaments and enrichment opportunities • Being an active member of a supportive and collaborative faculty This fixed-term contract may be extended or lead to future opportunities within the school. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Physical Education or a related discipline • PGCE with QTS • Strong practical knowledge of a range of sports • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities • Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS (depending on experience).
