Responsibilities
* Reporting to and working alongside associate/partner
* Reviewing work and finalising accounts, tax returns, letters and fees to a standard and sending them directly to the client
* Reviewing client and HMRC correspondence and drafting responses or communicating directly with the client
* Assisting with ad hoc advisory matters, such as, financial forecasts, incorporation and management accounts
* Dealing with ad hoc client queries/advice (tax, Xero, etc.)
* Managing the team with regards to training, attendance and holiday
* Oversee the workflow of the team
* Competent use of accountancy and taxation software – Xero, CCH, Excel, Word
* Maintain a professional working relationship with both clients and colleagues
Skills required
* Qualified ACA or ACCA
* Confidentiality
* Experience of supervising and training staff
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and with others
* Good IT skills
Salary and benefits
* Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

* Pension contribution increased to 5% after 2 years
